Audacious Friday night/Saturday morning campers in a park on the outskirts of the town centre.
No doubt @DAFlys will be as surprised as I was.

Audacious is absolutely the word for that one.    Right next to a court too.

It's raining here,   just got home soaked through.  IT WAS LOVELY AFTER THE HEAT LAST NIGHT.

It's turned dull here and the temperature has dropped, as a consequence.
Had a lovely morning out and two more drone flights.

It was similar when we walked this morning (got one of the last 2 free spaces) and now its brightening up,  although Im supposed to be moving wood.

In the mean time did you see the flying car crashed?

Keep an eye out for it in your neck of the woods, then

Well spotted
There was something similar in Ernée, near where we used to live. But that was a motorbike.

Interesting find Mr. B.    Is "wild camping" become a new fad in the UK?  Not so sure that wild campers would be welcomed by land owners.

I hadn't been aware of it as being an urban "thing" until recently. It was always something associated with open countryside.  Only since David has been documenting occurrences, have I thought about urban instances. This is the first one I've encountered.

Just guessing but could it be related to homeless people?  I've seen in some South American countries where the homeless are forming tent cities.

It's hard to say. We don't see many street people, although other towns locally do have a number of shop doorway dwellers. Buxton being a tourist-type town, I'm more inclined to think that's what these were.

It reminded me of your robin reliant shot from a few months back.   Edit.  No it was a tuck tuck.

Ah yes - the one in Matlock, on the entrance to the Indian restaurant.  That must have been over a year ago....

Good to know you are not overrun with them.  Sad to hear about so many homeless people.

It's a Global problem from what we see in the press.

Strictly speaking, yes. But it's happening everywhere now, and there aren't enough law-enforcement resources to deal with them all.  So a blind eye is usually turned.  David sees far more of them down his way, than we do around here.

Sorry, yes.  It means, it's convenient to look the other way and pretend they've not been seen.

No problem. Nice to learn these.
But I don't get the blind eye.
You would not have to turn it right?
It does not see anything regardless of where it is pointed at.

I didn't invent the expression
Yes, it infers that even when looking at it, you choose not to see it.
