Hello, everyone!

I have a Ronin 4D with Sirui Saturn anamorphic. It has it's own disadvantages, but most of them are manageable  (like focus rotation is too fast so I have to use and additional ring). The only problem right now is that I can't add a motor to aperture. I thought of getting independent focus motors (like smallrig 3918), but I've no idea how to attach it. I have the Zenmuse x9 focus motor clip thingy to which I could attach a tiny rod and then attach 15mm rods on 2 sides somehow, but even if I find some adapter, there is no way I can attach smallrig huge motors in there.

I can use flex with a cage to solve that problem, but I don't want to give up the 4D gimbal.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot in advance,
Mihail.

Your wanting more than 1 motor, right?  I think if you don't tune the 1 motor for focus, you can use it to drive anything you want, though it would probably be janky AF

Hi! Thanks for your reply! Yeah, i think there is no way i can use it with autofocus. There is simply no place to attach another focus motor there. Even if i manage to do that there is no port that would power the second motor if i place a motor and a kidar on Zenmuse x9. I made my own 8mm to 15mm rod adapter and gonna try to place 2 tilta nucleus nano II's there. Hopefully it will work. You wouldn't know the power (voltage/amperage) those ports give, would you?

Thanks again.
