Fellow DJI users,
I feel compelled to share my recent experiences with DJI, hoping to raise awareness about potential issues that many of us may face. After investing $1,801 in DJI products, including an Air 2S drone, controllers, and accessories, I've encountered significant problems that I believe the community should be aware of.
Firmware Update Malfunction: A recent firmware update has caused severe issues with my drone, rendering it essentially unusable. This isn't an isolated incident - there have been reports of similar problems from other users.
Warranty Breach: Despite multiple attempts to have these firmware issues addressed under warranty, DJI has failed to properly examine and repair my drone. They often attribute problems to user-induced physical damage without proper investigation.
Refusal of Proper Service: DJI has been unresponsive to requests for repair or replacement, leaving many of us with expensive paperweights.
Potential Safety Hazards: The malfunctions caused by firmware updates could potentially lead to dangerous situations during flight.
Lack of Transparency: There's a concerning lack of clarity about the development process of some models, like the Air 2S, and their relationship to newer models.
I've attempted to resolve these issues directly with DJI, but their response has been inadequate. I'm now considering legal action and have consulted with an attorney regarding potential breaches of warranty, product liability, and consumer protection violations.
I urge all DJI customers to:
Be cautious when updating firmware
Document all interactions with DJI support
Research your consumer rights in your jurisdiction
If you've experienced similar issues, please share your stories. We need to hold DJI accountable for their products and service.

I asked them for picture of broken frame, it was not broken and never hit ground before. How's frame broken, there phone lines was messed, I finally got transfer to China, where I took it to ww3. I have PhD in computer science and circuit stuff, Prefer running landscaping business, I make more stay healthier.. I'm making next drone. I asked for money back for drone and controller plus hardware back or air 3 and replacement or air2s but they should send me air 3 cause my father works at Pentagon.. So talking too then in China and seeing pictures of every factory DJI uses ,I noticed really high walls there around place with guard post. Plus is 2023 DJI Stole Those blue prints from Trexon I think it was called. Also what happened is they added a clear data feature to the software and to the Drone and it basically did not clash what the current Legacy firmware in there. And it erased the battery files and I no longer could see the battery on the device and it also wouldn't sync up either

He brought like I flown this thing 16,000 km prior with nine different units and I've never had this problem. This one I've been only flown 82 times and I usually fly them like I've flown them like up to 200 times in one year. To everything it did was because of that update and because of firmware malfunctions with new firmware designed for new drones mixed into the app and then the app's confusing modules of that firmware within those different models of drones that the firmware operates on the little menu thing.. and then that gets all mixed up and then stuff that's made for new ecosystems and new drones that have a different ecosystem inside of them than the air2s that stuff the clear data was made for those drones not this one. So it basically crashed the Legacy hardware on him it's happened to multiple people and DJI isn't honoring the warranty for it and they're not been looking at people's stuff and people have had to sweat them over it.. they didn't have a senior technician

Bro it also quit syncing with the remote the HDR file changed massively the contrasted were blacked out the ground when I was looking at the sun everything that was done in that firmware upgrade downgraded the Drone. It was even zigzagging when it would take off it was it would act like it there was an obstacle there when it wasn't even moving.. bro it was like severely messed up these guys did this on purpose and I'm going to hold him liable for it. And I'm going to get a free air 3 out of it watch. I'm going to twist bro. Big brother thing would not even sync up with a remote again I don't have a computer and nobody I knew would do it for me. The greedy people are with their computers when it comes to when they hear the word DJI everyone's like you're not doing that on my computer. Nobody trusts the company.
