the 2 images in that video are slightly different, the 1st image shows what looks like the name of the camera may have a compartment behind it, not saying that s so but it looks that way whereas the second image shows 2 holes.

Believe that is just the "sticky" glue holding the plastic dust cover there.. as you can see the same light sensor & mic hole are there.. wouldn't be able to have a "compartment" there too..

Going based on the "Rumors" .. if the Sensor is the same 1/13 F.28 ect.. Then why couldn't they just update the firmware of the Action 4 to improve the supposed list of "improvements" the DJI Action 5 is rumored to have.. As it's just firmware updates to that camera if the Sensor is just the same.

Seems more like a scam tactic to sell new cameras to existing users, by not updating the capabilities of the current generation if the hardware is the same as in the next generation.

.. The "leaked" photo of the "5 Pro" makes it look cheap (quality of course, not price).. Looking like it's covered in a cheap truck bed liner..

I was referring to the gap at the top of the insert, but it is highly unlikely.

It's a yawn for me if the lens specs are the same. Just more money that stays in my pocket, a win for myself I guess...lol

Because in the end, DJI is just a company which want's the customers money.

They basically didn't improve the firmware of the OA4 at all. There were so many feature suggestions / improvements and the only thing we saw was "fixed some minor bugs" and some other stuff like the DJI Mic 2 support.

Sad but true...

OA4 was released in mid August last year, so guess we will see something very soon

I see that like badge is missing mics, but has a  slot on top/bottom makes it look like the  badge is a pop off cover, maybe its a  printed sticker  with black lines Lol, and the Action 4 looks perfect, while the Action 5 letter 5 is bigger not the same as the letter 4. till the Real Action 5   hits ,then we can   say YES. I camera tracking

Interesting, thanks for sharing that pic and info. Hopefully come 8/20 we will see something! I have some DJI credit I want to use for this if it truly is a new model.

I think your comment about FW updates is unfair and disingenuous.  If you look back over ALL the FW updates, there have been some significant improvements since the cameras was launched

Those slots are probably for wind protection and mics will be inside those slots.

IMHO: if they are slots, I am sure they are drain ports as well, and the wind is still on the bottom. Any Commetn DJI???

They will release their new mini drone Neo first that is even smaller than the Mini.

This better drop soon, we’ve been waiting for the pro version for a while. Better have great colour at night. And the wide field of view is a must for us travellers.

All I can say if dji is wasting peoples time and money to compete against insta360s ai camera I’ll be so disappointed, because no one buys a camera to have ai images or video in their vlog or their videos, gen z and the rest of the world are going to be so sick of  ai content that it turns people away, people are looking for authentic footage or content, wasting the consumers money on silly ai software that makes ai content is a waste of time, there are so many places you can make ai content or dji can easily make a software where you can subscribe to at a cost to use online but integrating it into their cameras is a waste of their consumers money especially if they can or could of upgraded actual hardware or technology that makes the camera better.

Why insta360 pro was a failure is because of ai content software in it: it’s not even impressive, it’s useless for content creators and it takes value away from a camera that’s designed to be a camera not an ai generating device

The Insta360 ai isn’t on the camera. It’s software based on the internet via their app. The 'in camera' ai is used for enhancing low light video and that works brilliantly. As you said what you wanted earlier, 'great content at night' ..... the Ace Pro does that thanks to ai.

DJI has yet to offer Microphone control via the app, they need to be up to date or, people will walk,  I owned an Insta 360 One X series camera, and they are fantastic, just not cut out for the updating and hard work that goes into it. With the App side that is where most of it lies not the computer side like other software editors are.  As Iancr**** notes, rather than a sensor doing its job, it's now both software enhanced.

till the OA5 comes out Rumors are plastered over the Net days away I Love to see what GoPro offers, they are   also to be released, I doubt Insta will release one out when they Just threw a big update on ya
