Thank You for reaching out. Firstly, you need to update the firmware to the latest version on all your DJI devices and restart them. Upon restarting you can connect your DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 or DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 as usual. You can refer for activation and linking here About DJI O3 Air Unit.

Sorry DJI Gamora I was refering to the goggles 3,  as thats the picture that was posted at the top of the thread.

Thanks, if you synchronize the glasses, but the controller has not been able to, it does not synchronize in any way. everything updated, I have the fpv controller 3

Today I updated my djio3 and switched to the new dji goggle3 visors... terrible result,
I lost the signal 2 times flying at the usual field that I know very well and where I usually never lose the signal with all ather my fpv drone.

after updating the firmware on the Unit O3 and on the DJI Goggles 3 with the radio control too ,
I made some flights in the usual field where I usually work to test if everything was working well...  
so , when I pass near an area where I know there is interference, the drone disconnects, going from 30Mbts to zero, immediately. (witout any warning)  

I tried three times and it was always the same result “disconnected”.  
then the same test done by connecting the drone to the old goggles V2  following the same lines  
and despite  the signal lowering a bit ,  from 30Mbts it goes to 20Mbts  the drone does not disconnect.  

All test done in automatic channel and video recording 4K 120fps setup .

Thank You for reaching out. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing.

Kindly check as per the troubleshoot below;
(1) Check whether the firmware version of each part is the latest.
(2) Check whether the top of Air Unit antenna is correctly installed with no obstruction.
(3) Check the distance and altitude when the image transmission is disconnected or the remote controller signal is lost during the actual flight.

If issue still persist, kindly DM us the logs of Air Unit and goggles via google drive or dropbox.

Yikes, would you suggest me seperately getting goggles 2 and a seperate fpv controller (was thinking the boxer or tx16s)

at the moment I would advise you not to update the dji unit O3 and wait for dji to solve this bug.

if you already have a dji unit O3 on your drone,
continue to use the old goggles 2 or dji integra ...
because the compatibility with goggles3 at the moment does not work well and can cause sudden signal loss.

with the dji unit O3 I am STILL using my old goggles.
So at the moment yes, they are the most compatible and efficient visors for our self-built fpv drones.

my regret is not being able to use (and therefore bring with me) only one model of goggles for all my drones ...
( DJI please ... fix this problem as soon as possible, because the compatibility declared by the new firmware does not work )

well , it depends on what you want to do and how much of a hurry you are ...
I hope DJI fix  it soon ... and that we can use the same goggles3 and RC3 for all our fpv drones, both dji and self-built ...

Im in no rush, just want to get in to traditional fpv since the avata 2 has many limitations and i want to work towards becoming an fpv pilot.

No the goggles are compatible with o3 unit already but people say its horrible and disconnects after any obstacle.

Exactly what I’m saying…
Dji goggles 3 with last update and dji unit O3 with last fw , as per declarations are now compatible…
But many users , including myself still have issues with suddenly losing of signal.
So … In my opinion
At the moment it is much more better to use goggles2 or V2 with dji unitO3 which usually don’t have any issues and works good …
Maybe in the future dji will work in some update to fix this problem… but this is on the dji hands
