Hi all.

I have strange issue with my Mic 2. Another mic works fine and connects without trouble, but when I try to connect another (while another charging or powered off) Action 4 connects it but when I shutdown the camera and open again to film the mic doesn't connect anymore. Mic blinks blue.

I tried to pair it again but canera doesn't find it,
I tried to change mic for the green connection and back to blue and connect but doesn't work. I tried to power off and on, doesn't work.

I haven't pair mics with anything else than Action 4.
I updated firmware but didn't solve the issue.

Both mics work with receiver just fine (separately or together). Just test but not long test.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

Please follow the troubleshooting steps below to see if you can isolate the issue.

1. Swipe down from the top edge of the screen to enter the system settings page, tap “Wireless Mic” > “TX”, and the camera will enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

2. Press and hold the power button on the transmitter for two seconds to power on the transmitter.

3. Ensure that the transmitter is in Bluetooth pairing mode after being powered on. If the indicator of the transmitter is in solid green, press and hold the record button on the transmitter for three seconds to make it enter Bluetooth pairing mode until the indicator blinks blue slowly.

4. Press and hold the linking button on the transmitter for two seconds, and the transmitter will initiate a search for nearby Bluetooth devices, with the LED blinking blue rapidly.

5. Once the transmitter successfully pairs with the camera via Bluetooth, the indicator on the transmitter will remain solid blue. The camera touchscreen will prompt “Connected". In this case, press the link button on the transmitter to start recording while using the transmitter for audio recording. Press the link button again to stop recording.

If the issue persists, please provide us with a video demonstrating the problem so that we can further investigate. Thank you.

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

I also have issues pairing the dji mic 2 with osmo 4. It will connect but then disconnect automatically then connect only to immediately disconnect. What do you recommend?

Hi there, kindly follow the steps below to connect DJI Mic 2 transmitter to Osmo Action 4.

- Swipe down from the top edge of the screen to enter the system settings page, tap “Wireless Mic” > “TX”, and the camera will enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

I do get the screen that says wireless mic connected with a green check mark. Then I get a notification at the top of the screen that says "DJI transmitter 2 connected and used for audio input. 80% battery remaining" then  immediately afterwards a new notifaction that says "DJI Transmitter 2 disconnected" and these two notifications just continue off and on one immediately after the other.

This has been happening for 3 days now and honestly I feel like I should return these products. I bought them because of their compatability but turns out I was duped

The connection between the mic2 and action 4 isn't great. Mine works for a number of hours when out on a ride, Then will just lose connection and not re-connect again. No amount of trying to pair will make it work again. Usually takes both devices being turned off for some time before it will magically re-connect.

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

I've done this multiple times, it doesn't connect/pair for long time after it lose connection.
Then I change for the other one which worked, but then battery already low, and that's the reason why I change mics in the fly.
And maybe next day another mic pair normally again, if not I must use that mic which worked before.

I need to pair each time i turn on my camera. Very frustrating. Hopefully DJI will come out with a fix.

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

Could you please send us a short video showing the issue so we can check it further? You may refer to the information below on how to properly connect your DJI Mic 2 transmitter to the DJI Osmo Pocket 3.

1. Swipe down from the top of the camera touchscreen, tap the Settings icon and select Wireless Mic > TX1/TX2. Then the camera is ready to link with the transmitter via Bluetooth.

2. Press and hold the power button of the transmitter for two seconds to power on.

3. Make sure that the transmitter is in Bluetooth linking mode when it is powered on. If the system status indicator of the transmitter turns solid green, press and hold the Record button for three seconds to switch to Bluetooth linking mode. The system status indicator of the transmitter will blink blue slowly.

4. Press and hold the linking button of the transmitter for two seconds, and the transmitter will start searching for nearby Bluetooth devices. During this process, the system status indicator of the transmitter blinks blue quickly.

5. When the transmitter is successfully linked with the camera, the system status indicator of the transmitter will be solid blue. The screen will display a "wireless mic connected" message. Press the linking button on the transmitter to start recording while using the transmitter for audio. Press the linking button again to stop recording.

Please keep us updated on the progress.
