Interesting one room bungalow.  Nicely filmed Charles.  Is the vacant corner lot included or is that a separate lot waiting to be built on.

That was my question too   Finding a building on the adjacent plot someday would really restrict the view

Not too far from the waterfront, for a gentle walk. A starter home for a young couple, or single person perhaps?

Depending on whether the vacant lot was included or not  will undoubtedly influence the sale.

Very odd. But this area flooded and funding was given to raise the flooded bungalows.

Turns out, the plot belongs to the city so presumably no building on it.  But it's a flood-risk area too, which is another dissuader.

So then it will just remain vacant.  I just noticed in one of your replies that the area if prone to flooding so that would be a concern for a prospective buyer.

Yes, The problem is you are at the mercy of the city or you maintain the lot yourself.

For such a small lot a little TLC wouldn't take long.  If it was next door to me I'd mow it whenever I mowed my lawn.  Speaking of lawn I only have a small patch next to my boat dock.  I can mow it in under 2 minutes.

Nice. My property is only 50 by 100 ft. It's the edges and shrubs that are the pain.

No shrubs or anything next to mine to take care of.  I do have a really nice old oak tree that provides plenty of shade and does require trimming from time to time though.

I used to have a small garden with vegetables and herbs but I've kind of let it go by the wayside this summer.  There is a farm not to far from me and he has really cheap prices for vegetables and fruits so I just buy my fresh produce from him.

The bad weather we've had this summer kind of turned me off to keeping up with the garden.  It was nice to have fresh items that you had grown but too much rain ruined a lot of the plants so going to the "local fruit/vegetable" stand worked out better for me.  I still have a long planter that I grow basil, sage, mint and parsley that I use for seasoning while I cook.

Indeed it does do that.  Since retiring I've dabbled a lot with cooking and BBQin so I have become a bit of an accomplished cook.  Not at the Chef level though.  I'm just trying to eat healthier and stay away from processed foods as much as I can.
