The SDR Transmitter wont power on using the Ronin RS3 Pro USB Video Transmission Port. Any ideas?

Same problem. I don't think it's a defective transmitter because it works directly connected to the PD port of a V mount battery, and the gimbal controls the DJI focus motors on the same port.

I've tried different cables, different ports, etc.

It only runs the SDR transmitter fan for a couple seconds, but never illuminates the screen.

I was having the same issue.  

Having spoken to DJI support, the issue turned out to be that I wasn't using a DJI supplied USB-C cable.   It was resolved when I swapped that over.  This is surprising as the two other cables I'd tried were high quality working cables for my SSD harddrive.

I'm having the same issue. Even with the original dji cables it won't work. Every time I switch the transmitter on the vans make make a short blow, then stop and nothing happens.

Would be nice if there is another solution.
