This is so dissapointed, cause lost connection and feed without warning and never comeback even i try to restart goggles 3
DVR in o3 still recording, fortunately GPS rescue working good and drone back to home.
Pls fix this DJI, if GPS rescue failed i will lost GP12 and drone T_T .

Yes I had the same issue 2 days back. I was cruising and all sudden lost connection and never came back on as the drone coming back. Lucky I have the GPS. DJI, please fix asap.

I'm glad you didn't lose your drone.  Looks like the new O3 firmware has a bug if it can't reconnect to the G3 even after you reboot it.  I haven't experienced it yet, but I'll switch back to the V2 Goggles and make sure GPS rescue is working on my quads.

Same problem with DJI O3 and Goggles 3.
Flying very close without any obstacles in between, the transmission suddenly stopped. It happened twice, yesterday and today.

Yesterday I immediately disarmed and the image returned after switching to Low Power Mode.
Today, however, I turned on Angle mode and lifted the drone to about 120m (judging by the recording from the drone). Unfortunately, the signal did not return, it returned only after disarming and switching to low power mode.
Unfortunately, despite restoring the image, I was unable to arm the drone (too much tilt) and it fell from 120m. Fortunately, nothing happened to it.

It is very frustrating and it is hard to fly calmly with the thought in your head that you can suddenly completely lose vision.
I did not have such problems with DJI Goggles Integra.

Wow, looks like I'll be swapping out my O3 for a Walksnail Moonlight 4k kit until DJI can address this issue with a new firmware update

It's unfortunate too since the image in the Goggles 3 is superior to the Walksnail Avatar Goggles X, but at least Walksnail has been reliable with excellent range ;)

Personally, I'm not flying my O3 units with the Goggles 3 until DJI sorts this situation out

It's not like DJI is gonna pay for repairs caused by their buggy equipment  

DJI needs to GIT GUD ;)

I also experienced this a few days ago.

Ive been testing flying the same route the last few days, with goggles 2 and goggles 3 and to me it seems the signal quality with the goggles 3 is generally just worse than the goggles 2.

On the test route im flying, when signal quality drops due to obstactles being between me and the drone, the goggles 2 will maintain video feed but video quality is reduced - when it happens with goggles 3, the video feed will literally freeze for a moment and then come back- and in some cases, it never comes back and you lose the drone.

I have benched my goggles 3, too dangerous to fly with these goggles, hope new firmware will stabilize the goggles 3 and o3 connection.

Wonder if dji is aware of this going on, i've also had my quad fall from the sky because it froze and lost video, i had perfect signal and out of nowhere it dropped to 35 and cut the video instantly. ive got it all recorded on my goggles up to where it froze and then the o3 air unit recorded the crash all the way to the ground.

Past week lost signal 2 times.. 1 drone just fell off .. the other one gps rescue saved it though it landed on my roof. .. both of them experienced signal loss between dji o3 and dji goggle 3 just within 100 meters distance. .. switch back to my fpv goggle v2 and no problem.  i grounded my 'NEW' Dji goggle 3 until next fw update.  Dji please fix this!

Thankfully landed in about 3' of weeds. So cushioned the fall as best as anything could. About 20' from a lake which would have quickly ended it.

First drone/system. Other than it spontaneously disconnecting once... I love the setup. Quick connecting. Nice goggles. Etc Etc. I'm sure it's software related, so will give DJI some time.

Same issue here. I have contacted DJI And my logs from the goggles and the air unit are being reviewed. I’m not touching my goggles 3 unit a firmware update comes out.

+1 to this thread:  I've upgraded from Goggles2 to Goggles3, along with the associated firmware updates required on both the goggles and my fleet of O3 AIr Unit equipped quads.  I've experienced this problem across multiple aircraft (3 I believe):  In multiple cases the screen has just gone completely black (not typical 'loss of quality / signal') - and only once was the connection re-established while quad was still in flight.

These issues, combined with the totally fubar timestamps of files captured by the Air Unit - and I think I'm grounding my G3s as well.  Disappointing, to say the least

I thought I had an isolated issue. I was flying last week with the Goggles 3 and my Mini 4 Pro, when I got the "lost connection" message. Fortunately for me, it was temporary and contact was re-established shortly afterward. I wrote it off to some type of error on my part or external interference, but with these other reports that doesn't seem to be the case!

Thank you for letting us know. The quality of image transmission can be affected by various factors in your surroundings, such as Wi-Fi interference, signal strength, the position of the receiver, and physical barriers. To address this, please follow these steps:

1. Ensure that your drone's firmware, the goggles's firmware, and the DJI Fly app are all up to date. Update or refresh them to the latest versions if needed.
2. Please position the remote controller's antennas correctly as picture below.
3. Avoid obstacles such as trees, buildings, and other sources of wireless signals when flying your drone.
4. Check for interference in the flight environment. You can use the Image Transmission Settings to monitor the real-time channel quality. If there's significant interference, we recommend changing the flight environment.

If the issue persists, please provide the recorded video of the image transmission in the app during the flight. The video should include the flight environment and the image transmission channel page showing any interference.
