I just changed my mini 2 wifi for a mini 4 wifi+cellular today.Very nice, small and powerfull.
But i see he is with IOS 9.0.
I saw on this forum some people experiencing some issues with IOS 9 update on Ipad mini 2 or 3 and The DJI GO app.
In my case, i tried, without propellers, and seems to work very fine and smooth.(firmware v1.4.0010)
Stable signal everything seems ok.
Don't have tryed a fly for now...
Any experiences?
None of the above. I installed IOS9 on mini3. Using Pilot app 1.1.2 and no problems. Didn't want to update to IOS9 but it was a late nite and I'm getting tired of all the notices to upgrade this or that.
Ios 9 does not work much past 2200 feet (lose video feed) when I was on 8.4 5000 to 6000 feet was easy to do at 400 feet high...also I did notice the red arrow in the flight log does not move now also....so i,m sure dji will wait till ios 9.1 comes out in Nov before they will update the problem...so back in the case it goes till DJI updates the GO APP...;(
DAMN IT I just got this drone with one flight down and my phone updated to IOS 9 and drone won't fly. it has no LED flash at all and just beeps really loud. The app says overall stats aircraft needs update
Why can't you just revert back to the 8.4.1 version. Apple still has it signed for install so you can go back that version. I also saw where either DJI Dave or Tim said that an update for the GO App should be ready in 2 to 3 weeks.
Until then. iOS 9 Revert back to iOS 8.4.1
If you've upgraded an IOS device to v9 you can revert back. However, if you buy a Mini 4 it come with IOS9 and cannot be downgraded to an earlier version. I was told this at the Apple Store,
I Have 9.0.2 and have no issues. I'm using an ipad Air 2, 1.4 firmware on the bird. Everything runs smooth, flight logs are fine. I've tested it in Autopilot app and DJI GO.
