Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out.
You need to check on the compatibility first as below;
1. If the sound console supports an external microphone, and the microphone input port is not supplied by 24 V or 48 V, it can be connected to DJI Mic Series in theory.
2. As the sound console often does not come with a 3.5mm TRS port, an adapter or adapter cable is required for connection.
For Usage Method please refer below;
1. Check the microphone input ports on the sound console and confirm that the microphone input port is male/female.
2. Purchase a microphone adapter/adapter cable.
1) If an XLR (Cannon) port is used, please purchase XLR (male/female) to 3.5mm (male/female) adapter/adapter cable.
2) If a 6.35 mm (1/4'’/TRS) port is used, please purchase a 6.35mm to 3.5mm (male/female) adapter/adapter cable.
3. Insert the “adapter” to the sound console microphone input port, and connect to the “Camera Audio Cable (3.5mm TRS)”, and then connect to the receiver.
4. Adjust the gain on the sound console based on the audio monitoring effect to ensure that it is within the normal range.
Could you confirm whether the microphone port used is a LINE INPUT port, which is often used for signals of an electronic instrument. However, the Max Input Level (3.5 mm) of DJI Mic Series is -17 dBV (THD<0.1%), while the line level is generally above 0 dbV, so the DJI Mic cannot be used without adjusting the gain and volume bar. DJI Mic’s Max Input Level (3.5mm) is -17dBV (THD<0.1%). However, the line level is generally above 0dbV. As such, DJI Mic does not support line level input.
Please check whether the gain setting and volume bar on the sound console are at the lowest value. It is recommended that the adjust the gains on the sound console, DJI Mic Series receiver, and DJI Mic Series transmitter at the same time until it can be used.
I hope this information has helped to clarify your inquiries. If you have any other questions, kindly let us know. Thank You! |
