Remarkable capture and some really nice pitch at that location.   From the title I can only assume that location is used for lawn bowling.

I guess lawn bowling is still quite popular in the UK.  

It is interesting that other sports owe their beginnings to the game of lawn bowling including billiards, curling and indoor bowling.

It would seem to be popular here,   most towns have a club or two for it.    Ive never tried it,   but I have played a good amount of boul but we dont have many places in parks to play that,   I think Mr B does air a local pit for it.  In France they are everywhere.

Since it is an outdoor game I guess it would be a seasonal type of thing.  It would be very hard to play when the ground is covered in snow for sure.

Yeah I've seen plenty of colored golf balls but in Florida they are only used on the driving rage.  Up in the northern states they use them following light snowfalls.  Following heavy snowfalls they just close the golf courses.
