Thanks its not pretty but functional. That is 12 jobs wrapped into one flight.

Yes I believe so. There are some great services that do the work, like drone deploy and pix4d. I don't subscribe to them yet. I use the pay as you go plans. DJI wants $3,000 for their software, and the other two are in excess of $300 per month.

It's appalling. I use open source software and maps made easy. The rest I let the aggregators deal with.

It's funny that drone is such a powerhouse it took a little more than 10 percent of the battery.

I was pretty angry at the initial cost, and the additional controller but it does what it's supposed to efficiently.

Wouldn't it be cool to get 3 hours out of one battery and not have to carry multiple spares with you?  I couldn't fly that long straight but that would definitely cover all the flights I'd ever need to do in one day.

I tend not to need more than 30 minutes most of the time but it would be nice not to carry extra batteries.

Extra batteries do add weight to an already full and somewhat heavy drone bag.

They certainly do.  When you take the battery out of any DJI drone it seems like the drone is then down to featherweight.  Nothing left but plastics and some lightweight electronics.

Mega efficiency.  Not sure how they could get the weight down anymore.  I'll have to take a look at the official specs of the Neo when it is released to see how they got the weight down on it.
