Hi there,
Thank You for reaching out. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing. This is a normal phenomenon, because after Osmo Action 4 is power off, it is equivalent to being disconnected from DJI Mic 2. DJI Mic 2 will need time to automatically reconnect to Osmo Action 4, so it will not be able to record audio in the first few seconds with DJI Mic 2.
Unfortunately, it doesn't reconnect at all, which is the issue. The only thing that "fixes" it for me is if I reinstall the firmware files, but this is hardly a fix because I can't do that while outside if it decides to stop working. And I have no way to know when it will decide to not work. I did exactly this before I went out yesterday, I reinstalled the firmware files and made sure the mic was connected and working, it was working for the first couple hours, and after a couple of uses turning devices off/on, the mic just stopped connecting again. I waited 2 mins, 5 mins, 30 mins, switched both the action 4 and mic off and on and resynced and nothing. It's completely random. |
