The Mini Music Festival...

Somewhat unexpected to stumble across this,   no advertising appeared anywhere I noticed to say it was comng.

Brilliant shot DA.    Somehow the word about the outdoor concert got out as that is quite the crowd.  Looks like it was good weather for the event.

There were rides to the right of that shot that also had people on them too.

Oddly there was no advertising that I saw about it,    they played mostly early 90's music.

A few songs that stick out to me from the 90s were Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, Tubthumping by Chumbawamba and Black or White by Michael Jackson to name just a few.

Most probably would have.  I haven't been to an outdoor concert in a long while now.  I've been to a couple held indoors but that venue provides a different type atmosphere all together.

Gosh its been 35+ years for me for an outside concert.

My old grandfather used to always tell us that "In youth, the days are short and the years are long. In old age, the years are short and days long."  He was quite the character.  He lived to be 102 years old and his spouse lived to be 103 years old.  He used to joke that he needed to die first so he could get to heaven and tell his side of the story before his wife gets there.
