so osmo action 4 have this nice feature called Highlights tagging, where you press the side/power button during filming and you can tag/highlight that part for easier searching afterwards. it works on the action cam gallery, but when exported on the phone or viewed from the phone, how do you see those highlights? kinda useless if you can only see highlights on the device but you edit on the app. so you should be able to see where is the tag/highlight? especially on multiple videos from looping..

The only time you need this is when you are recording your video, so you can do something about it (lower the exposure).
If you are editing, you are too late and the video is blown out already.

Exposure isn't the highlights he is referring to.
I am wondering the same thing: how do you find the highlight tags in other video editing suites?

Ah ok, highlights as in 'interesting' parts.
Now I get it. Never heard of that.

Hey, the only solution I found over years of using action cameras and editing them later on desktop editing apps is these ones: https://youtu.be/8coOuoaaPqQ

Well yeah, you really need this. For example you taged a good scene or clip. When you export those clips to your computer or phone (3 mins and an average of 20 in a hour ling recording) you'll probably waste time just looking for those clips you've tagged .. so its really a big help...
