  Hi,
I have an interesting problem and I don't know how to solve it.
I have an M4P drone with RC2, I bought this set last year and I performed an official declassification on the drone. Now I need a second controller, RC-N2 (tablet connection, online stream, etc.) for the M4P. And I discovered a problem that I don't know how to solve, the M4P cannot be paired with the RC-N2, probably due to different firmware versions.

What is the current situation:
  • Aircraft Firmware: v01.00.0300
  • RC2 firmware: 02.00.0500
  • RC2 app version: 1.12.8
  • RC-N2 firmware: 01.00.0700 (probably the newest available..)

Why is there an old firmware version in the drone and controller? It's simple, the reason is the blocking of the use of extended batteries in newer fw v01.00.0500. And I am satisfied with the current state, I do not need the new features that were released in the firmware this year, on the contrary, I do not want to lose my investment in extended batteries, the advantages of the older firmware outweigh for me.

Initially, I thought the incompatibility was caused by an incorrect version of the DJI Fly app on the tablet connected to the RC-N2. I tried practically all the released versions of app,  from 1.12.3 to the latest, unfortunately, with none of the versions can the drone be paired with the controller. So the problem will be in the firmware versions...
I also tried to flash an older firmware version to the RC-N2, unfortunately, it is probably not possible or I don't know how to do it. There are different ARB versions (older fw ARB0, in the controller ARB1).

Of course, there is a simple solution, update the drone and both controllers including the applications to the latest firmware, but I want to avoid that - batteries.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this? The easiest thing would be to downgrade the fw in RC-N2, would anyone know the procedure? Thanks!
