Hi all,
I recently lost my DJI Air 2S drone and Samsung Galaxy S22 phone in a forested area in Albania. Unfortunately, both devices are powered off, so I'm considering using metal detectors or thermal imaging cameras to try and locate them.

However, I'm not sure about the logistics and legality of bringing this equipment on a flight back to Albania. Does anyone have experience with carrying metal detectors or similar equipment on international flights? Are there any legal issues or permits I should be aware of when using these tools in Albania?
Any advice on the best equipment to use for such a search, or tips on navigating local regulations, would be greatly appreciated!

We will help to apply for data analysis if the drone is under the warranty period to find out the cause of the accident, if it's a warranty case, we will compensate the drone according to After-Sales Policy.

Thank you for your response. I have already contacted DJI support and filled out the flyaway form. Unfortunately, I was informed that my drone is no longer under warranty, and the service for locating the drone is only available for those with active warranties.

I was hoping to get some guidance on locating the drone without the warranty service. Any tips or suggestions on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
