DJI MIMO App stopped working on my Samsung A32 5 G phone. Working with no issues until mid-August 2024. When invoked, it just get stucked on a grey screen with a white DJI MIMO text. I uninstalled, downloaded and installed a few times and stil result in the same grey screen. I have +10GB free internal storage on my phone. Andorid version 13.

I downlloaded the 228314 apk, updated the app and I am back to the old issue. Stucked on the initial black display with the white dji logo.

Hi, yes 228293.apk this one work but when I update it with 228314 apk, it become unusable. You mentioned that 228293.apk is a temp fix, so does it mean there will be a new apk that has all the updates since 228293.apk?

I have the same issue as the OP but with a Samsung S20FE. Bought pocket 3 in mid August for a holiday that I am now on. Tried to connect Mimo app to camera on first day of holiday (yesterday) and app just displays dji logo and a black/grey screen. Worked really well with the phone in August, now it is looking like I may have to return Pocket 3 to seller. This is dealbreaker for me.
I've made no changes to the phone since installing the Mimo app, but Samsung may have updated the phone in the intervening time.
I tried the apk download linked to above, which looked like it was going to install successfully, but at the end of install it gave me an error messages that said the package was incomplete (or something along those lines).
Hope you can help.

Since purchasing the Osmo Pocket 3 in August, everything worked together with the DJI Mimo app.

Now, after 14 days of not using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (together with DJI Mimo), I had the problem that the DJI Mimo app no ​​longer starts on my 2 tablets (Honor Pad 8, Samsung Galaxy Tab A with S Pen) and 2 cell phones (Samsung and POCO F5).

The Mimo app freezes when starting. Deleting the app works, but reinstalling it doesn't work, it gets stuck during the download.
Tried on each of the 4 Android devices, all the same problem. It seems as if Google has made updates in the last few days and is now preventing the DJI Mimo app from being installed/used.

1. Download the file to the PC
2. then copy it to the Android devices
3. double-click the file in the download folder
Installation of DJI-Mimo WORKS and the Mimo app RUNS on all of my devices!

Kindly please try the troubleshooting steps below and see if you can isolate the issue.

(1) Please clear the mobile phone cache and ensure that the mobile phone has enough storage available (10G or more is recommended). Hard restart the mobile phone.

(2) Check the App version, if the app is not the latest version, then it is recommended to download from the official website or update the app to the latest version. And please clear the cache from the app itself for testing.

(3) Cross-test with another compatible mobile device to check whether it is caused by the compatible issue.

Actually I have an Osmo Action, not a drone. So the app you posted above it's useless. Anyway it seems I solved the problem. I downloaded and installed the app directly from the phone and it should work. I sill have to try it together with the camera.

Solution.... Ok, so I've been having the same issues here as everyone else. The App will not download. It Says Pending but does nothing. I have A Motorola 2022 G stylus 5G. I bypassed google and downloaded FireFox browser and was successful in getting the app to download the APK provided by DJI. After downloading and installing the app, it seems to work just fine. It must be an android/google thing. All it asked was for permission to download from untrusted sources. Once I did that, it was smooth sailing.  I hope this works for everyone!!!

From what l am reading on this forum the whole design needs to be rethought.
To have a device so tightly coupled to an app (mimo) that is also dependant on its host phone is really questionable. This is because the phones are changing so often it would be next to impossible to reliably design the app to guarantee its function.
Unless DJI can guarantee their device app (mimo) works on any phone forget it.

Hi there, generally, devices not listed as supported mobile devices can also be used if their system versions are the same or later than those published on the DJI official website (Beta system versions may not be compatible).  It is recommended that you download and install the app to test the basic functions.
