I 've been trying to upload my Osmo pocket 3 media to Davinci Resolve but I can't and it seems that the problem is that the files are H.265, and it is not supported either by davinci resove or by windows.

Shouldn't it be the case that files should be encoded to work with major OS and software without any problems? Any solution?

Are you using Studio version or the free version? If using Windows you may also need an HEVC codec to read the files.

I'm using the free version and win11. I fixed the problem following the instructions on this website free-codecs.com/guides/how_to_download_hevc_video_extension_for_free.htm and using ingognito mode on brave. On Chrome I could not download the file. It worked for me. Thanks.

I had the same problem and was unable to fix it so I've got the studio version. My error was on HLG video format, I've attached a sample, I've just drag the video into Davinci, and when I was playing it those kinds of artifacts appeared. Also, they where present after the export.

I had no issues with Resolve Studio (18.6 on macOS) so far. I used HLG at 25 fps and 50 fps in landscape (16:9) mode. Can you provide the source file to reproduce the case on other systems?
