Mast Inspection for Charles....

Just have to ask - what are the blue cans alongside the road?  Some type of barrier?

Interesting to compare. One thing I don't see is the GPS antenna found at ground level. It is used for clocking the GSM/CDMA signals.

They are half barrels to stop people parking there.   Thats the access to the boat yard where they launch those new boats so they need to be able to get big cranes and trailers in there.

That makes perfect sense.  Here they use signs for that purpose but then again some people here still park right next to a No Parking sign.

That strategy worked quite well and it ensured the drone wasn't put at risk of getting blow into the tower.

That's a great shot.   Question:  During inspections like that would you get in close like you did and then do a circular quick shot?

I'd be afraid to fly in that close.   What do you estimate that distance to be?

That was about 6ft away roughly.
