No & no, because it did not offer worldwide coverage. The warranty requires that the drone be shipped for repairs to the same country/region where it was purchased and that is too restrictive for me.

Shipping to DJI and back is free - and fast.

I received new drone within 5 days and sent broken one after that back.
I had to deposit 400€ (?) until broken one arrived to DJI (I had Mini 4P)

Is that international too? So having bought my drone in the UK if I crashed it in say Japan will they send my replacement to Japan?

I didn't buy it and regret it now because the Avata 2 is fragile and not user-repairable.  If DJI would let me buy it right now, I would.

No and no regrets.  It would have been a bummer to crash and trash on day one.  After ~4 months of flying. Would be just sad and a bit thinner wallet.  I have crashed the Avata2 IIRC 3x.  First was the most brutal. Hit the tree branches trying to squeeze through an opening in the canopy.  10-15 meter tumble through branches.  Interesting goggle view.  Only issue was the time it took to find it and one broken prop.

Have flown and crashed over a dozen different quads.  Micro feather weight 1s to  +500gm 6s quads.  JMHO, don't find the A2 to be fragile relative to the other quads. The bummer about DJI is the limited to basically no option for user repair of a damaged drone.  Something I was aware of.  One of the reasons why it took me a decade of flying to make the first DJI purchase. Not really into modeling and repairing any more. Getting lazy with old age. Just want to fly. If damaged. Just bin it and buy a replacement.

Hi there, we are sorry to tell you that for Avata 2, the DJI Care Refresh Service is only available in the country or region where the DJI Care Refresh was purchased. You need to bring the drone back to the UK for DJI Care replacement. For more details, you can refer to: https://www.dji.com/pt/support/service/djicare-refresh/faq

Hi there, for first purchase: The service plan can be purchased if the product meets one of the following criteria
      · Brand new and un-activated product;
      · Aircraft product activated within 48 hours;

If the product does not meet the above conditions, you can apply for video verification or contact DJI Support to send the product back. DJI Care Refresh can be purchased within 72 hours of receiving the purchasing notice. Please refer to: https://www.dji.com/pt/support/service/djicare-refresh/faq

I fly the Avata 2 like a baboon.

I think I average one crash per battery.  So far, I have had to "walk and retrieve" several times. . . I have used "turtle mode" several times.  One broken prop.  some other damage I won't discuss.
I have not used Care Refresh yet - - - but I suspect it is only a matter of time.

Compared to the Mini4, the Avata2 is FAR more robust, although I do not fly the Mini4 in Baboon mode.  (I mean. . .look at those props and motor arms. . . not going to clip a fence at 20mph with that stuff hanging off the body.

You are wrong.  The international shipping is not free,
In fact, it is very expensive and carries the risk of the drone being seized at the border by the customs and/or duties being levied.

Just because you had good experience with shipping to DJI within your region does not mean that the experience is good elsewhere.
Anyway, it is a moot point because the DJI administrator had stated clearly that DJI does not provide out-of-country/region warranty service.

Ive had to send mine back before and they supplied UPS labels to ship abroad to their repair centre,  it was not handled in the same country.

OK, I talk about EU - you are from Poland, so it should be same.

I bought one drone from DJI strore (Europe) and other from local shop (Estonia).

Both Care Refresh replacements were free - shipping new one to me using DHL and shipping broken one to DJI (Netherland??) using UPS.

I just had to pay replacement fee (55€ for Avata, 75€ for Mini 4P)

I didn't buy it and had a very unlucky loss of GPS and one arm was done in 2 weeks of having it,  I thought instantly I should've bought the damn thang

The drone itself is REALLY hard to repair on your own compared to the original Avata.

Anyway took 1 crash for an arm to rip off and had to buy a new unit which I NOW HAVE CARE REFRESH don't be stupid like me.

Not been out much lately AJ. Weather in the West Coast of Scotland hasn't been the best recently. Tomorrow (Fri) and Saturday supposed to be a lot calmer and drier. Mini 2 batts charged, AV2 batts charged and wondering how many of my MP2 batts to charge. Hope the weather obliges!

It does seem one significant crash will mean having to sent it in which is a shame given that part of FPV flying is the ability to repair the drone yourself as crashes are typically frequent

OK, I talk about EU...  I bought one drone from DJI strore (Europe) and other from local shop (Estonia).

I bought mine in the US, so it is a different region.
DJI will not allow me to send it to their European service center  ...and shipping it across the ocean is very expensive not to mention the customs both ways.

There is a method to purchase DJI Care if you missed the initial 48 hour purchase window.  You have to supply video of the drone & perform specific actions to show that it is undamaged & functioning correctly.  The directions are available in the link below.  After uploading the required video, contact DJI through the link on the page to complete the purchase of DJI Care.

It's almost never a good idea to buy expensive stuff from other region, even if you initially save a little...

Probably Dji count it as a geographical region as opposed to a politicalone DA. Although they, (Dji that is), differentiate when it comes to certain matters. Avata 2 max speeds for example.

When i purchased my MA2 in early 2020 there was no way I was going to risk crashing and having no recourse for repair. My experiences with DJI Care refresh have been excellent. I probably would not have my drone now, if it wasn't for care refresh.  The "international limitation" is definitely understandable.
