DJI 03 & Goggles 3 Safety Critical Dropout Issue



Anyone experience this?

This issue happened to me yesterday for the first time since getting 03 air unit with my goggles 3. Thankfully it happened right after i armed and flew about 20 feet in front of me when my screen went black so i disarmed and landed back down safely. Man is this scary to fly around with my new nazgul dc5 eco. I started out with the Avata 2 so i only have the goggles 3 and fpv rc3, so when they released the new firmware i was so ready to jump into the world of real fpv. I read about this issue before and told myself i hope it never happens to me but just my luck it did (the day after i saw this post). Luckly it happened so low to the ground and when i just took of just cruising around. DJI better make this right and put out a new firmware to fix these issues

Yes, this has happened to me twice now.  I've lost one quad and was able to punch out and crash on the second.  There is no way to restore the connection until you physically unplug the battery and plug back in.  I've gone back to goggles 2 until DJI fixes this.

This issue happens also to me: I used DJI goggles 3 (FCC, 40MHz channel), O3 air unit and Matek F765 WING as a FC controller with AP, all updated to the last FW versions. The lost of the video signal came in the distance 1.5 km (before I was in this direction around 4 km far, with some small signal drops, but then the signal was back again). I immediately switched the RTL mode and the plain fortunately went back. But very strange on this is, that the signal didn't recover all the way back until landing. The goggles were all the time disconnected. After landing I did on the plain the power reset and the connection to goggles was back.

DJI, please, check the FW-s, because this is a serious safety issue.
