Taken last week trevelling Club Europe from Florence to London

Great aerial views. And an unusual view through the cockpit.
I remember enjoying a view like that as we flew into Ronaldsway on the Isle of Man. But that was in 1980.
I doubt they'd allow us to do that these days.

We had just landed at London City airport at that point - the door was sealed before then. I think 9/11 changed a lot of security policies for aviation

Magnificent aerial views AJ.    Reminds me of some of the views I enjoyed during my short tour as a Sky Marshal.

It's British Airways short haul (within Europe) business class. Great for getting on and off quickly, using the exclusive airport lounges, having more leg room, being called 'Sir' about 100 times and having unlimited champagne but all of that comes at a price.

I flew from Cologne back to London British Airways business class some years ago,  (the private airline I was on gave my seat away).    It was hilarious as it was a regular row of seats but they closed a curtain and served me a bottle of champagne,  which I managed to knock over.

That's about it LOL - the lounge in Florence was nice and getting from my seat to luggage collection in 7 minutes was ever better but yeah, that's BA for you!

I used to really like BA but for a lot of the flights we were doing pre C19 they just didnt fly from the airport we wanted or the times were terrible,    we did quite a lot of get aways straight from work and on one occasion straight back to work on the Monday morning from the airport.

That's hard core! Yes, BA standards have dropped quite a lot over the years.

We did that to HK once,   flew Thursday night and landed Monday morning back at Heathrow,  then straight to the office.     Too tight to have an extra day off back then.

That is a serious flight - my brother spends a lot of time in the air with his work too and often does that. Flying is purely recreational for me
