Hi everyone,

I managed to capture the arrival of the research vessel RSV 421 - SV.KIRIL I METODII in the historic port of Nesebar. As the ship approaches, its silhouette becomes clearer against the backdrop of the ancient town. The vessel, known for its past Antarctic expeditions, glides into the harbor, a testament to Bulgaria's contributions to international marine research.

The contrast between the modern research ship and Nesebar's medieval architecture is striking, symbolizing the blend of Bulgaria's rich history and its ongoing scientific endeavors. Onlookers can be seen gathering at the port, their presence suggesting the significance of the ship's arrival to both locals and visitors, as the commander of this vessel in born in this city.

While the Antarctic mission is a part of the ship's storied past, its arrival in Nesebar serves as a reminder of Bulgaria's continued involvement in marine research and the town's connection to these scientific pursuits.
