No sunrise here this morning with the thunderstorm that blew in around 5:15 AM blocking the entire sky.

Going to try a new location today for something different - if the rain holds off and I can fly the drone.

Ive just finished planning the stop offs for tomorrows drive south,  hope the weather holds out so I can fly all the locations.   But its spitting here,  and once I go and collect the car Ive got some running around to do,   I was trying to finish the leather belt case for the pocket 3 yesterday and ive run out of glue so thats the first job.

Hope the rest of the trip goes well.
I'm exhausted after the first day of the 2-day Boundary walk.
9 miles up hill and down dale - but it was the wind that was the killer.
DIfficult to stand up along the hilltops.

We got rather wet and climbed too many steps due to my fetish for free parking.    But todays rain on the forecast has gone and theres actually a bit of sunlight.

That was indeed.  We parked up in St Georges Road at the top of the hill and walked down,     I didnt realise the hill situation when I picked it.     I was hoping to fly from the top over the harbour but it was too wet.

It's alovely morning here, but still very windy.  I'm not going to bother with the drone.

There's room for it in the Ruck/seat  
It's generated lots of interest amongst the walking group - especially when I had a comfy seat for the picnic stop instead of a poly bag on damp grass

It generated a fair bit of interest at the rest stops
I think that particular Outlet may be getting a few visits.
Whether the sale price I got it for is still in force remains to be seen

I can see why if the weight is right,   better than the sharp rock I was sitting on yesterday to fly.

The only weak point is the narrowness of the carrying straps. They do cut into the underarm a bit when the bag is full, Thought there's a protective pad for the shoulders.

I must post some pics of the leather carry case I made for the P3 before we left,   though I cheated and was short of time so I riveted the sides rather than sewing them.
