Fort Monmouth Before Construction

That's quite the large complex.  The parade field is huge, which seems to be normal for all Army bases.  I read where lots of history was made at that base over the years with the first radio-equipped meteorological balloon reaching the upper atmosphere, RADAR being developed on that base -- a model of which detected the 1947 Pearl Harbor attacks, and the celestial communication theory was proved via radar transmissions during Project Diana marking what is widely recognized as the beginning of the “Space Age.”

Now Netflix will take it into the future.  Hopefully, their construction will be completed by 2028 as anticipated.

It's about 3 miles by 1 mile.

I mean Netflix is already overtaking the studios in movie production - sites like this will merely add to their repertoire.

A great overview Charles. That will be one massive complex when it's finished. Should be plenty of work opportunity there for you for years to come  Netflix eh? Wow.

When I flew there I didn't know it was Netflix. It was the construction company that they are using.  Still interesting nonetheless.
