Just before sundown. We had steak and lobster so I was a little late getting out there. I'm more dedicated to a good meal than a good shot. Lobster and steak are favorites.

I can't blame you for that.  The lobster down here are small compared to the ones in Maine.

I'll second that.   I remember a few Navy training flights that would go to Brunswick, Maine and then return with lots of lobsters in coolers onboard.

I just did an event at the Crestmont Country Club in West Orange for it's members. They had these beautifully grilled 3 pound Maine lobsters which were previously steamed. They looked so good. Unforetunately I wasn't a guest. Just a photographer. It was killing me.

That's funny. This company just offered me some work in Boston inthe next couple of weeks. Maybe I can swing some Lobster along the way.

If I can get FAA Approval by the end of the month I will take the wife and spend a weekend in Boston. I am supposed to be mapping the Encore Hotel.

Sounds like you've landed a challenging project.  Hopefully, you can get FAA approval without a long delay.

It is a problem. Getting lots of cancellations. Most people want things done in a week.

No doubt they don't take into account the time needed to get proper clearance to get the job done.

They have no idea. It's hard enough for commercial drone pilots to know.It's not posted anywhere.

Sounds like it is kind of up to the experienced drone pilots to "educate" the prospective employers needing the work done ASAP about FAA approval delays.  I don't think anybody ever accused the federal government of moving fast.
