HI all,
I've recently completed a S1000 build including A2 and iOSD Mark ii.
I would presume my monitors should see the iOSD stats even if there is no camera installed, but I don't
see how the wiring connects back to the A2 just a Cam Port and Power.
Should the iOSD broadcast?

You need to connect the iosd to canbus 1 on the a2. I tap right into the GPS canbus hub. Then you need to have a video downlink connected to the iosd video out.

thanks for the reply, but what cable to what port where?
I would presume the packages would have a lead in them but nothing pre built. and no diagram to show the cable, port and connections. A2 controller should transmit, yes?

Spot on, all correct. So what runs from the iOSD to A2 for transmission or the diagram you provided states another transmitter is required not supplied.

A can bus cable goes from the A2 to the iOSD. Then a Video downlink is required to go from the iOSD out.
