Hoping there's a quick and easy fix for this issue I encountered with the Joystick controls - I have played around with the "Invert Joystick" and "Joystick Control Direction" settings and unfortunately they do not solve my issue. I haven't played around with all the other variables yet, but here's the issue that I have:
  • In Tilt Locked mode
  • In Portrait Mode
  • Holding the gimbal in Upright Mode
Pressing the joystick away from my wrist or pulling it towards my wrist causes the phone to tilt up and down as expected

If I then
  • Rotate the gimbal grip 90 degrees to the Side Grip Mode
Pressing the joystick awy from my wrist or pulling it towards my wrist causes the phone to pan left and right when I expected it to continue to cause it to tilt up and down

Is this intentional behaviour? Maybe Yes.
Note how in the steps above I said "moving the joystick away from my wrist or pulling it towards my wrist". I used those terms instead of saying "moving the joystick up and down" because "up and down" only has meaning in a given frame of reference. "Up and down" could be relative to the ground, or relative to one's wrist on the grip - so maybe it was an intentional product decision that the joystick controls should be relative to the ground rather than relative to one's grip? In that case, if it was an intentional decision, then when switching from Upright Mode to Underslung Mode one would expect the joystick controls to invert relative to your wrist/grip position, EDIT: that is actually what happens.

Why is this annoying / why should it maybe be a setting?
If I want to tilt the phone up, I want to be able to do the same muscle movement with my thumb, regardless of which way my wrist is pointed. Moreover, there's a weird transition that happens when you are holding the gimbal grip near 45 degrees, where pushing the joystick away from your wrist suddenly changes from causing a tilt to causing a pan.

Questions
Is there perhaps a setting that I'm missing?
Does this happen with other Osmo products?
Is it perhaps a firmware thing?
Is it perhaps an issue with Mimo?
