When i calibrate the controller it shows that when i move the left joystick a bit down it also registeres as I would have moved it all the way to the right and also the right yawn is a lot slower than left, this issue came to me after maybe 40 hours of flight time and no issues to this date i was running on older firmwares to be able to use the ham file since im in the EU but even tho i upgraded all the firmware it still is the same and is really annoying because its unflyable.

Why not open a case with DJI and have them replace it,   you're still under warranty.

i know i can do that ill do that tomorrow if i dont find solution but im trying to look for the cause of the problem before completely replacing it

To be honest if it's 100% right when you move it down it sounds very faulty.

its just wierd that it happened after flying it for a longer time and not from the start, ill send a video of the calibration in a minute

Thank you for your patience. Could you try to refresh the latest firmware of FPV RC 3 and proceed to perform RC calibration again.

If the drifting issue persists, please send back the RC to the facilities for further inspection. You can submit an online repair request here: {https://repair.dji.com/repair/index}

Unfortunately, without being able to fully assess the damage, I'm unable to provide further information on the cost or ETA of this repair.

Once the drone has been properly evaluated by our technicians, we'll be happy to send you ETA and a detailed repair offer based on the assessment results. This will ensure you receive an accurate and transparent quote for the necessary work. Upon result of the assessment, it will be decided if it has to be self paid, covered under Warranty or DJI care refresh.

Im curious if the update and recalibration solved thjs issue for you. Ive just bought the same controller for my avata 2 and I have the exact same issue as you, both on simulators and while flying my avata 2 with the fpv controller.

no it didnt i sent it to get replaced for a new one so that means a month without flying but i just have to suck it up. I called on every DJI hotline and they told me that its a hardware issue and since its a newly bought remote i just sent it back and cut my loses, i still fly but with the love toy and I just cant wait to recieve the controller in the mail. I even tried checking it via online controller stick drift sites and it picked up the same issue.

My avata 2 crashed itself, took around 20 days for me to send it there and back, sadly missed so many good shots as I was on a trip in Niagara falls, no compensation except a water bottle which holds too little water to use..

I have the avata 2. It came with the motion controller but it's not even close to as fun and capable as the fpv controller. Ive been looking into building my own drone for a while now and I think this situation has pushed me to just upgrade. Spending about $320 on the dji controller for it to come broken doesnt make me want to keep buying their products unfortunately.

yea I see what you mean, just a tip tho try not to build your own drone yet since DJIs goggles claim the o3 air unit is comparable, but there's still lots of flaws.
For example when the drone loses signal, you don't get the signal back unless you unarm your drone or crash it..

if you're looking to get into fpv more traditionally as of right now getting a betafpv Cetus x might be your best bet since using the goggles 3 is just too risky now, plus its gonna be a pain to build your own drone.

Yea Ive heard that. I was planning on getting a whole new set up, new goggles and everything. I still have my mini 4 and avata with the wii controller to fly while I build my first one.

oh wait do you not have a seperate rc for the mp4?

Yes I do, I have the big rc with the screen, the motion controller and the fpv controller (with the issue). Since flying the fpv controller and doing stunts, it's hard to go back to the heavily assisted controllers that take the skill out of flying.
