Yes, the difference between having to reboot your phone is a inconvenience. having a $3,000 aircraft fall out of the sly is another.  Just plain POOOOOR QC in the software development area of this company.

I have 2 P3Ps. Both are now suffering break ups in the video under iOS 9.0.2. One is far worse than the other, happening at a few feet and almost constantly after about 10 minutes flying at 100m I find this quite worrying and a safety issue. I believe it is down to a firmware issue. I hope DJI provide a solution quickly.

Same issues here and for whatever reason, mine seem to have gotten worse over the last couple days.  Not sure if camera settings are doing it for some reason?  But the chopped up video and constant video loss makes it real tough to shoot with.

I have no problem with my P3 but I wish DJI to find a solution asap for those who have encounter many problems. P3 is a fantastic tool to work with. Save your brand values DJI. A Brand without values is nothing and not a brand. So DJI ? ''What are your Brand Values'' ?
You are number one on the market. So act and be according to the privilege. Otherwise it is a question of time before your dominant market position can change.

One fix was released. It seems it didn't solve issues for all. Few are claiming it works, others are saying it has issues.

DJI is still working to issue the next fix. ETA not known yet though it's over due.

Where did you see a release? the subversion is still the same on the DL page for IOS.

my live video feed is useless

my p3p worked fine before dji go 2.3  .  Tried to fly it today in a remote site where i fleww many times before with no issues and the video feed breaks at 50 feet or so (it worked for 2000 feet in this same location)

using ipad air 2 with ios 9.0.2 and p3p with 1.4.1.

my p3p is grounded.. thanks dji

DJI GO App 2.3.0 was expected to resolve iOS 9 related issues but unfortunately it didn't address them. Even I have grounded my P3A.

I'm still running 8.4.1 but with DJI go 2.3.   I'm having constant issues with DJI Go freezing then crashing / quitting.  Not sure if iOS 9 brings additional problems, but the crashing would seemingly have nothing to do with iOS 9.

One thing though is that when this happens it has no effect on the flight of the aircraft.  The controls on the RC still respond as expected.  The crashes do however seem to be more frequent when pressing the button on the remote to take still photo shots.

Sorry you are having this trouble. Here are some things you could try...

Have you checked the ribbon connector from your gimble to your bird it could be loose.
Try to Power cycle everything, controller, Phantom, phone/tablet
Try leaving the P3 and RC turned on unplug the usb shut down the app replug Usb and restart app.
Try uninstalling the App and reinstalling it.
Try downgrading the firmware.
Try to rebind the p3 to the controller. You push a button on the gimbal with a paper clip and then in the pilot app settings select "linking rc" after pushing the button on the P3. That should re sync them.
Try hardware decode "OFF" and Set Video Cache to "Disabled"  Set Auto Cleanup Video Cache to "ON"

Members have reported following:

Some have recovered after reinstalling Go App, others reported ok performance after not caching camera feed.

Just weighing in here. Did a lot of flying last week. Most flights had some weak signal and screen glitches. Several times I had a black screen and complete loss of signal. Not a very happy moment. Had to stop dead and either initiate RTH or gain altitude and see if I could regain  a signal.

Really not happy that this seems to be a significant problem for some and that DJI did not seem to know about or just ignored and they do not have a fix for it more than a month after people started bringing it up.  In then meantime they keep selling thousands of units to unsuspecting customers.

I would suggest that everyone having problems should review the app on the Apple App Store. So far only 31 reviews, but the majority are 1 star. Perhaps more negative reviews will get some attention or at least warn those downloading it that they should be aware of potential problems. Thank you.

Same here. No "problemos" !!!!
Before that, Ios9.0 + DJI GO 2.2.0 have a video cut offs. Then i downgrade to 8.4.1 and DJI GO update automatically.

Hi Dave: Do you still propose to continue selling P3 with current state of Go App? How long?

That's one of the reasons you need to expedite a fix for Go app quickly, it can't go on indefinitely like this. You got to have an ETA.

I am running IOS  8.4.1 and 2.3  I have 18-20 satellites and my bird keeps going into ATTI mode I was out on a lake the other day trying to get some fall shots pretty windy day and my bird went into ATTI luckily I reacted fast enough got the bird above tree level and flew her home safely. since then its happened every flight I've been on. so no more flying on windy days till theirs a fix

DJI GO is experiencing minor compatibility issues with iOS9 resulting in some instability. Our development team is working to remedy this and a fully iOS9 compatible version is scheduled for release in 2-3 weeks.

Dave didn't say 2-3 weeks but Tim did in the original post.  It has now been 4 weeks.  In those 4 weeks they did come out with 2.3 but that didn't solve the issue for many if not most of us.

Delay in release of the fix is making DJI entering a critical phase where their product can be declared faulty and may eventually lead to halt of the production of P3 and Inspire. DJI should realize it, take it seriously and put maximum focus on to fix it. Dave's statement that he never gives the final dates of release will not work here as that becomes an open ended non committed statement and doesn't reflect seriousness.   I am surprised that such an expert team of DJI has taken so much time to figure out the solution. I believe their focus so far was on to release new features and not to focus on the issues faced by the customers. DJI please move fast to save the worst. You have already lost the advantage of first release, now you have the second chance to fix the issues.

I am afraid that DJI would probably not halt production due to a faulty product/software. Their focus seems to be on sales and pushing as many products out the door as fast as they can. They are riding high on the drone craze and it's just a big money grab for them. Fixing problems and true customer experience seem to be low on the priority list.

At least that is the perception that they seem to be projecting. Perception counts for a lot whether actually true or not. Maybe they truly care and are working hard in the background trying to come of with a fix, but their silence speaks volumes.

Sorry, to be so vocal about this, but I come from a background of working for companies and running a few of my own that make customer service a very high priority. It really bothers me when I see one treating their customers like this.
