Am quite familiar with cameras etc, and some of teh editing tools.

I have been caught out before when using the selfie mode in a mount and I have to convert/mirror.

But I got rid of a Sony cam thinking the pocket 3 would do that job for product and desktop instead of using another camera. The problem is, when you have the pocket 3 horizontal it always shows the image inverted. 1 I do not want extra editings  2 it is very hard to watch a screen that is upside down or mirrored.

Now, tell me I am not just missing a hidden setting somewheer or in the mimo app.

Or is there some other work around for now ?

Should have a slider for invert image, and one for mirror (or selfie) that shows correct on screen or a monitor.

Hi, pocket3 just displays mirrored image when doing selfie(gimbal turns 180), the footage it records is not mirrored.

if you want footage to be generated mirrored footage: swipe down-> settings-> selfie flip, it can be set

If you want pocket3 even not to display mirrored imaged on its screen: there is no direct way (just like smartphone selfie always mirror the image making selfie just like people seeing themselves in a mirror).  However, if you use joystick to control gimabl pan move 180 degree. it won't flip....

Yes, I got that, it is about being able to see on a screen the correct output and save editing time.

The mirror is  not as bad as inversion, it is very tricky to do product or desktop properly if you cannot see right :-)

I found a workaround for time being, I invert the camera first, wait till it realises it is upside down, then place horizontally without turning off etc.

I would suggest 2 slides in menu maybe under some advanced tab, or with the product mode, so screen orientation can be set.

Also I would suggest having more than just C1, at least 3 settings and probably 5 custom settings would be handy, cause there is a lot of settings and is fiddly manually changing them all the time, that is if you remember....argghhh

Hi, it happens when camera is horizontal with the handle away from you and gimbal closer to you. I say exactly horizontal.....try it with your own one, you will see it does the same if pocket 3 and latest firmware.

I can work around by inverting the camera on the vertical first and wait till it inverts, then put it horizontal.

The problem is, you should have the ability to lock whatever orientation you want, I can see the camera turning off, then I have to get it off mount etc and go through the same thing to re use again.
