I had bit of difficult to understand how bring its back to your hand automatically.

I really liked the results of the camera in 4k, it is really good!

Light and portable, easy for travellers!

Be careful with the wind, it is really light!

Try to use the follow mode and spot light!

The battery is just 18 mins

You shouldn't fly so far!

Recieved my neo but can't seem to get it charged  ?

I have had the Neo since the weekend and done quite a few of the neat features.
One thing I have noticed is that the video file created does not stamp it with the date it was taken.
I have just done a follow me around the garden without using controller or smartphone, then when I transfer it the date is 10/09/2024 not 11/09/2024 - UK regional settings

I am very impressed with the AI Tracking.  Here is my test video.

Got the DJI Neo but keeping it for my brother

The NEO got me into drones and I'm super excited to get started!

I wanted to have the controller and noticed that at that price, I could as well get the Mini 4K which has a better camera.

Though now I start to use it—I'm noticing it lacks a bunch of features the Neo (a cheaper model) does have. Particularly tracking the subject, also the controller.

Could these features be enabled through a firmware update for the 4K? Or is this a hardware limitation (CPU power)?

Be careful flying the new DJI NEO in a windy day my friends!

Raw output is most often reserved for higher end drones with DJI.
My Mini 2 did not have Raw output (for example).
But it never hurts to ask

The Mini (1) was the drone which hasn't got RAW option, the Mini2 was able to take pictures is RAW ...

A lot of users would really like to see RTH support added in the app for flying the Neo using a mobile device. Currently it’s just too easy to loose control of the drone if it goes out of range or the battery dies.

I have a Mavic 2 Pro and a Mini 3 Pro for 'proper' stuff. I bought a Neo to have fun with and it is just that, a fun drone, it's light and small and fits in my pocket so it will be always with me. People are complaining about the quality of the video, it's fine for what it is, what do they expect for under £200?

I ordered mine with the shipping date on the site saying the 8th, then pushed back to the 10th, now pushed back to the 17th.....

Does the DJI Neo support DJI Mic 1 and will this microphone cut out prop noise or do I need to get DJI Mic 2?

We are sorry to let you know that the DJI Neo aircraft body does not support audio recording.
However, in Mobile App control, DJI Neo supports audio recording via DJI Fly. For voice control and audio recording via app, you can use the DJI Mic and Mic 2.

No drone I know supports any mic.
If you get the DJI Mic, it will (by nature) pick up your voice better than the drone, unless that is very close by.
But combining the audio with the video should be done in the editor. What I like to do is clap a couple of times, so the mic picks up the claps and the camera sees the hands, which I can use to align both.

Unless you are using a smart controller with a mic input, but I have no experience with how that combines audio and video.

An application update is urgently needed to make it possible to manually control the aircraft and control the direction of the camera.

DJI Neo supports perform palm takeoff, palm landing, and smart snaps while in palm control, and you can manually control the Neo by Fly APP.  
After connecting DJI Neo with the DJI Fly app, you can check live feeds, adjust shooting parameters, and quickly transfer footage to your mobile phone.

It seems to be very good at that

I ordered the NEO from DJI UK store during the first week of launch and the courier(dhl) delivered it to the wrong address and someone signed and received it. I've contacted dji and courier but it's almost 3weeks now and dji still responds like I contacted them for the first time and telling me to contact courier, courier doesn't reply until yesterday saying they've gotten my response and will review my report. What do I do?
