Since the Neo got updated to be able to use the RC2, can we do that for the Avata 2?  FPV is certainly awesome with the goggles, but it could be useful in the public safety sector to make use of a stand alone controller with display while clearing a building.

+1 that would be great to have.  

That would be nice but the Neo is a hover drone that can also be used as an fpv drone, but the avata 2 is just designed as an fpv drone.

I get that, but since it's just a firmware update, why not offer the capability.  I think a bunch of people would use the Avata 2 with a stand alone controller.

I've got the motion controller 3, FPV controller 3, and the DJI rc2 controller.

The motion controller never gets used, wish I never bought it.

The fpv controller with goggles is fantastic..

But honestly I want to use a controller with a screen to get some shots with the Avata 2.

Now that they confirmed it's possible to pair the rc2 with the Neo that is also compatible with the fpv controller, please make the changes so the rc2 works with Avata 2 as well.

Same here - I really love that I can interchange the controllers and Goggles between my Mini 4 Pro, Neo and Avata 2 - except for that smart RC2 controller.
I also guess that the RC2 is being supported by the next DJI Air devices (Air 3s?) as it has been leaked that it will be supported by the RC-N3 controller. So Avata 2 would be the only one that does not support the RC2 - and this time, it is not Ocusync 3 vs 4 which makes it difficult, all those devices are OS4.

No problem, but you can also share with development teams that a future O5 upgrade is not necessary until 2030. With the O4 transmission we had enough for the moment in terms of range and penetration. Don't make the actual controllers useless in the near future
