Here is my first flight with the Neo. As expected, the video quality will not be close to Avata 2 or 1 or even DJI FPV. It seems they cripples it with oversaturation and overprocessing. Of course it can definitely be fixed if they want to

Also with the Goggles 3 we get SHARPNESS SETTING. Something that many people have complained about the NEO having way too oversharpening. We also get 4:3 ratio

yes, at very good price point. This one won't hurt the wallet much when it crash. Just wish they don't cripple the sensor because it is 1/2 inch sensor, but it behaves like Tello sensor if you know what I mean

but this camera is more like a selfie drone camera so the image is ok for that

but it have so many features and these are working perfect from what i saw
all these features makes neo a unique drone on the market

we do like dji products quality so much and thats why we buy their devices and talk about them here
if you look at dji competition drones theres nothing much to buy or/and to talk about

and of course i would like for example to have a 1inch sensor on mini series but i know its not possible
so im enjoying all my dji drones knowing that i fly the best drones in the world
and neo its in a class of its own

My 2” cinewhoop has O3, no jello at all, under 250g with 4s battery, and better IQ then Neo. My friend has built a 2” with GoPro naked and O3 system under 250g. So yes, you could have a tiny drone with a great camera. The only thing, is not consider DJI drones the best drone ever. Especially in FPV world.

Thank you. At this price it is perfectly acceptable. But picture can deifnitely be improved because I think your engineer messed up the color science and its not hardware limitation, not in year 2024.

Perfect for what they are selling it for,  but for anyone that already has a drone or FPV then really not a lot of point in it.

Really nice first manual mode flight.  

Just to be clear the video is from Goggles 3 and NOT from NEO which decrease quality like hell. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Theres a link to the raw video from the drone on the youtube. Although youtube compression butchered it nevertheless

A friend sent me a raw file of one of his first flights with Neo and I gotta say with about 15% less saturation and a few tweaks to wb, tint and hue, image looks MUCH better. I believe they can and will improve normal color profile via updates.

The camera of DJI Neo supports noise reduction and sharpness adjustment.
via Goggles: Open the goggles’ menu, select Settings > Camera > Advanced Camera Settings, and adjust Sharpness or Noise Reduction options OR
via DJI Fly: On the camera view, select “···” > Camera > Style, and adjust Sharpness or Noise Reduction options.
