Hi, I recently got an Osmo Action 4, and up until now I've been using the DJI Mimo app on my phone to manage the clips, and with the export function I actually got pretty reasonable file sizes.
Today I wanted to copy files onto my laptop, so I inserted the micro SD. At first I couldn't even play the videos (I figure that's because of H265 4k?), so I popped them into Davinci Resolve and made a full HD render of each clip on MP4, H264, medium quality. The thing is, a 3 minute clip takes about 20 minutes to render, and it hardly compresses the file size, the maximum I've achieved is 2.4GB to 1.7GB or something like that.
Any recommendations? If I change the settings on the Action 4 to H264 that would solve the playback problem, but the file sizes would still be too big, I'm planning to go on a motorcycling trip and I don't have enough space on my computer to store it all.
