I am having issues getting the DJI avata 2 to accept the unlocking license with the most recent firmware updates. The update were difficult to install. I had to use the DJI assitance for desktops to get the firmware to update but once the update was complete I can no longer import unlocking license's. I either get the "import has failed message" or "unlocking license are not compatible with current firmware" message. This is an on going issue and I am seeking advice on how to solve.

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

All firmware is up to date. I have connected the drone, rc3, and goggles to the DJI assistance 2 (consumer version) and updated/refreshed firmware. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled DJI fly. Import still fails for unlocking license or states that it is not accepted with current firmware. Operation on an apple phone. Attached is a screen record

Good morning and I apologize about the delayed response. I continue to have issues importing the unlock License into my Avata 2.
Yes I receive the information saying that the unlock is approved.
I log into my profile
refresh the unlock list
Verify that it is the current unlock request
Click Import to Aircraft
It takes a minute and returns Import Failed.

This has been an on going issue since the last Firmware update. I was able to import my unlock Licenses prior to this update. Due to the Geo-Fencing I have lost several customers and lots of income. This is unacceptable and I am needing either a fix that will work or to have my drone replaced.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the trouble caused. Kindly check the below troubleshooting solutions and see if that works:

1. Check whether the Unlocking License button has been enabled in the app.
2. Check whether the aircraft is in an unlocking zone.
3. Check whether the GPS signal is strong. Do not carry out the test indoors.
4. Check whether the correct DJI account has been logged into (the account filled out when submitting the unlocking application).
5. Check whether the correct aircraft has been connected (The aircraft for which the flight controller account was entered when submitting the unlocking application).
6. Check whether the unlocking certificate has been expired or has not taken into effect.

Kindly keep us posted the update. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

1. Check whether the Unlocking License button has been enabled in the app.
- The button is activated once the license is in the aircraft however the unlocking license will not import into aircraft. Please see above video
2. Check whether the aircraft is in an unlocking zone.
-  If it were not in an unlocking zone then I wouldn't need to import an unlock license, Of course it is in an unlocking zone.
3. Check whether the GPS signal is strong. Do not carry out the test indoors.
- The GPS signal is strong. This happens whether I am on site or indoors. I receive the unlock list inside of my profile however, the list will not import into the aircraft. Again please see video.
4. Check whether the correct DJI account has been logged into (the account filled out when submitting the unlocking application).
- Account has been logged into properly. I can get the unlock list to update through the RC and inside my DJI profile just not import into the aircraft.(Avata 2)
5. Check whether the correct aircraft has been connected (The aircraft for which the flight controller account was entered when submitting the unlocking application).
- The aircraft serial number and RC s/N match the corresponding request and aircraft. When I request unlocks for my DJI Mavic 3 Pro it works. I have the issues with my Avata 2 After the recent update.
6. Check whether the unlocking certificate has been expired or has not taken into effect.
- The certificates that I attempt to use are all active at the time of use. Further more I have attempted this through Android and IOS using the DJI fly app to connect. This all began once I updated to the most recent firmware.

I am having the exact same issue you are describing. I am also losing customers rapidly because of this problem. Have you figured out how to fix this problem of not being able to import the unlocking license?
