Hi there, thank you for reaching out. You can absolutely use your DJI RC 2 with DJI Neo. To link the DJI Neo to your remote controller, kindly follow the steps below:
1. Power on DJI Neo and the remote controller before linking, and keep the distance between DJI Neo and the remote controller within half a meter.
2. Connect the remote controller to your smartphone, then open the DJI Fly app.
3. Tap Connection Guide on the bottom right corner of the DJI Fly app, select the device, then follow the on-screen instructions to press and hold the power button on the device until the voice prompt sounds, and wait until the linking is complete after tapping “Pair”.
4. After linking successfully, the app will turn to the liveview.

I have an old RC2 controller for my Mavic Zoom that cannot be used for my Air2. Can it be used for my Neo or does it have to be the newer RC2 of the Air2?

The DJI RC 2 Remote Controller is compatible with the DJI Neo but not with the DJI Mavic 2 Pro.

I still can not get my DJI rc 2 to connect to my DJI neo I’ve watched every video I could and read thru the forums. On the remote I can not find the DJI neo where I select aircraft model. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

Please try to factory reset the remote controller then connect the remote controller to DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drone Series)  > go to Firmware page > Click "Refresh" button next to the latest firmware.
