System error -480 for binding remote

Hi,

The neo is doing fine, remote and phone are working and been flying it for a while now. A few days ago i added care support for it and after 1 or 2 days in showed 'replacement service' Valid. But below it also stated 'remote controller : Not bound'. When i try to bind it first shows me a screen with all the info (correct) but when i try to bind it comes up with error -480 (see screenshot of the 2 screens).

Should that also be binded or is 'replacement service valid' enough. Find this all kind of strange you send me a legal document stating the care service is active but reading the text on the Remote controller option i am not so sure. It tells me to restart all 3 parts and try again did that several times with multiple phones but each time get system error -480.

Please advice if my neo is covered and if that remote needs to be bound which doesn't work for me clearly.

Apologize for the inconvenience. DJI Neo does not support remote controller binding function. The "Bind New Device" button displayed on the DJI Fly App Value-added Service page is a common entrance for other models.

DJI Neo can be used directly after binding an account, and the rights of replacement, flyaway, etc. will not be affected, so please rest assured.

At the same time, we have also reported this issue to the engineers for optimization, and will update the app to solve it later. Thank you for your understanding and support.

=DUH= i did read that thread but it didn't have the last reply back yet i assumed it was about the first valid notice and dji asked to mail them. It only now became clear it was also the second step. I do normally try to check forums before a reply.

Thank you, please update the gui not to display the message when it doesn't affect a user (like on the neo). I feel more strongly about this because of the insurance involved it will leave people in doubt and thats never good. I am overall very happy with the software provided and normally just post to provide feedback to make it better.

I came here to ask this exact same question, thank you for clarifying , I swap between the WIFI App and my RC 2 , and was concerned on the validity of Fly Away DJI Care Refresh, this puts my mind at ease .

I didn't take it that way no problem just was surprised it ended up also in the 480 error that was not clear yesterday. To provide more info i ordered using the website (the care pack) and it took a day before the app went to 'valid' so i figured that was the issue on that one and not the second error (480) was the same but its a important topic so not too bad it now has two threads people can find.
