Can i use DJI Neo and Goggles 3 with RC-N3, or do i need motion controller 3 or FPV remote controller3?

Yes, that i know, but i would like to know about combination the RC-N3 that i got in the combo, and Goggles 3.
I am considering to buy a goggles, but i do not know i will need to buy Goggles 3 only, and fly with Goggles and RC-N3, OR i would need also buy one of FPV controllers.

When using the Neo with the Goggles 3 you *MUST* use either the Motion Controller 3 or FPV Controller 3.  You can *NOT* use the Goggles 3 with the RC-N2, RC-N3, or DJI RC2 to control the Neo.

As mentioned by Dirty Bird in reply 4#, DJI Neo can be used with the following control devices:

1. Remote Controller: DJI Neo can be used with DJI RC-N3, DJI RC 2 and DJI RC-N2 with O4 video transmission technology.
2. Motion Controller: DJI Neo can be used with DJI RC Motion 3 and DJI Goggles 3 with O4 video transmission technology.
3. FPV Remote Controller: DJI Neo can be used with DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 and DJI Goggles 3 with O4 video transmission technology.

I suppossed that the combo RC with DJI Neo will be possible to flight with Googles 3 also!
I bought this week the Fly miore combo NEO + Google v3, and i can not use the googles!!! Upssss i think something has no sense...
Then i must buy another control (RC Motion3 or FPV Remote) to use the googles? Great!
Then i think i will try to return the Combo amd buy only the DJI Neo and the FPV Controller.

The question now, with the FPV Controller i can control DJI  Neo in the same way that with the RC-N3 ?

New to the DJI eco.  Avata2 was my first DJI UAS.  But from what I understand. Goggle3 is your tx. MC3 and FPV RC3 inputs are transmitted to the Google 3 which then transmits the inputs to the quad.  The benefits are lightweight controllers that require minimal power to run. The negatives are additional costs to manufacture the Goggle3 and back compatibility issues for the transmitting hardware.  Another reason I am happy that DJI's USA fly more combo kit did not include the RC-N3.

I am happy that i have my RC-N3, because when i sum the price of two batteries and charger, it seems the RC-N3 is almost free, and still i can  use it with my iPhone and fly on-screen, what is also very good option.

Hello all.

I did buy the Fly More Combo and the Goggles 3.

By now, I can fly the Neo with the RC-N3 with no problem but with no goggles.
Also, I can connect the goggles to the neo and see the video with the controller RC-N3 disconnected (I cannot fly).

I cannot make the Goggles 3 and the RC-N3 controller work together.

am I missing something?

1. To operate the DJI Neo with Goggles 3, you must use either the DJI RC Motion 3 or the DJI FPV Remote Controller 3. The Goggles 3 are not compatible with the RC-N2, RC-N3, or DJI RC2 for controlling the DJI Neo.

2. The DJI RC-N3 requires a connection to a mobile device as it serves as the display screen.

You can use Neo with RC-3N without connection to phone, you will just have no vision feed.

You cannot use RC-3N with the goggles 3 at all. If you use the Goggles 3 then you need to use motion controller 3 or rc-fpv 3 controller.

I bought the Motion 3 controller and I had great experience yesterday flying my Neo with Motion Controller 3 and my goggles 3. The image is great.

The Neo flies great and easy. My final goal is to fly FPV longer distances and longer time.
I want to have good image to enjoy flying nothing professional with the video.

What is the best drone I can fly FPV with the Motion 3 and goggles 3 with long distance and time capabilities? I mean, distance 2 miles, time 30 minutes. Is it possible?

It should also be noted that, the Remote Control 3 (FPV) cannot control the Neo without the goggles3.  The RC-N3 controller does not need a mobile phone to control the Neo once everything has been activated - you need a mobile and the DJI Fly app to do so.

The best FPV drone for FPV from DJI would be the Avata 2, then the Avata, and then the Neo with the new upcoming Goggles N3.  Most people who fly FPV seem to want to perform fast flying through tight spaces and do acrobatic stunt flying.  This takes quite some time to learn, a bit like playing a musical instrument - it takes time to acquire the skill.

You can review the recommendations made by Umpa in reply number #21. The DJI Avata 2 is an immersive drone. Different from ordinary consumer aerial photography drones, DJI Avata 2 allows for aerial photography and can be used with a motion controller and goggles. You can fly through freely within in a small area, at a low attitude close to the ground, and at high altitudes, and enjoy immersive flying while recording cool videos.

Is this specific to the Neo?
I want to confirm that the RC 2 works with Goggles and the Mini 4 Pro as it says on Goggles 3 main page:

"DJI Goggles 3 is compatible with DJI Air 3  and DJI Mini 4 Pro. You can control the drones using DJI RC Motion 3,  DJI RC 2, or DJI RC-N2 remote controllers for a fresh, immersive flying  experience."

I'm also wondering the Goggles would work with the RC-N3 and the Mini 4 Pro.
