When flying NEO with googles 3 it began with 50 Mbps and that value decresases to 18 Mbps as I fly more far away and thats normal. What is not normal is that the Mbps are not increasing to 50 Mbps when I return to Home Point; sometimes it increases to 50 Mbps as it should, but sometimes Mbps remain low on 19 Mbps (even when is only 2 meters away from the googles.
Does anyone know why and how to solve this problem???

I see the same behaviour.  Full 50mb on take off, I fly around and it lowers which i'd fully expect but flying it back to myself, the mbps doesn't increase back up to full 50mb.  It hovers around 20ish.

I think we had this issue already with air units in one of the previous updates. I haven't noticed it the few times I flew Neo with Goggles 3 so far, but I just looked back at some DVR and yeah, it definitely happens.
Edit: seems like it only happens when battery is low? I don't have enough data to confirm this, but the only 2 videos where I can see it happen are with after low battery RTH countdown kicks in. Can someone else check?

But you see the live picture worse or is it just a "small bug"?

You can see from the picture 2 and 3 of my post I had 75% of battery level...

You can see from pictures 2 and 3 of my post that the image is not bad, but something is not working as it should!
Dur to this abnormal information (bug???), I no longer fly as far as I intended and obviously return to Home Point.

Due to h.265 video encoding of O4 transmission, video will not look *much* worse until you get into single digits bitrate which is probably how I missed it in the first place. I wasn't looking at the bitrate because the video looked fine.

Sorry, forgot to scroll up and check before I asked. I have some other DVRs where my bitrate went down but recovered to 50, does yours always stay below 50 when it drops once, or is it an intermittent thing? Edit: never mind, again I went to scroll up and see you already explained it's the same for you

Sometimes Mbps remain low, even when is only 2 meters away from the googles.

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

The image transmission bit rate is not a fixed value. The bit rate will vary depending on the video parameters, shooting scenarios, and environmental interference, etc. The maximum bitrate is 50Mbps and it does not the mean it will keep in maximum bitrate all the time.

Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.

This is not the right answer. The bitrate should be higher when the drone is close to you. The bitrate starts off at 50 Mbps and then drops as you fly farther away. That’s normal. But the bitrate never returns to 50 Mbps when you fly the drone back close to you. That is not normal.

It happens whether the battery is low or high.

I posted about this two weeks ago. This is a firmware issue that DJI needs to investigate and fix. One of the post mentioned by a DJI forum member it’s not a fixed value.

This doesn’t happen with any of the other 4 drones I have. When I fly it back to the home point the bitrate doesn’t recover even when it’s 2 feet away from me.

DJI are you looking into this, or was it addressed in the recent firmware update, as I not able to test it
