Can someonepoint me to a definitive description of what the "Color Recovery" setting in the DJI Mimo app does?
There is no user manual as such and contradictory statements about what it does on Reddit when I try and Google it.

I want to record in D-Log-M for the best dynamic range, but ideally I want to see a better representation of what the graded footage would look like while I'm shooting (similar to loading a LUT on the monitor) It seems there's nothing on the Pocket 3 to help but if I use the DJI Mimo app I can set the "Color Recovery" option to approximate what the footage would look like if I were instead shooting in Normal (ie after some grading). Perfect!


Except some have said this affects the footage itself, not just the monitor. Is that correct (in which case it;s of no use to me -just shoot in Nornal if that's what you want!)

One user on Reddit has advised against using it saying not only does it change the footage so that you no longer have the original D-Log footage to Color grade on your PC, but that he also found it gave a green cast to the footage compared to shooting in Normal mode. I just want morerealistic colour on the monitor while shooting but the footage to be D-Log M for me to work with after shooting. Is that possible?
