Hey all.  Just got my p3a yesterday.  Using litchi.  Cant get waypoints to work.getting error.  Do i need the newest fw for that to work?

Was your DJI GO app active by any chance?

If you just swap apps, GO will stay active.

On my phone, I need to press BACK twice to exit the app.

Please let me know.

Yes, you do need 1.4.1 for the advanced functions to work properly. Be aware that some of us, a minority I believe, have had issues with the new firmware. You will also need to move your left hand toggle switch from "P" to "F" to initiate any advanced flight modes. If you get in a jam, toggle it back to "P" to cancel the advanced mode and return to normal, manual GPS flight.

I am aware of the problems with the new fw. That is why I was waiting.  But I didn't know if litchi needed the p3a to have the update?


Also,  when in litchi, I can only fly about 50 yards or so....then it stops...like it hit a wall...like its on "safe" mode or something?
How can I turn that off?

I don't think you'll be able to do any of the advanced stuff without 1.4.1. Just did my first serious autonomous run (about 3 miles) with Litchi since I upgraded, downgraded, updated, downgraded, I don't even know how many times. Flight was successful. Video preview was on probably 95% of the time. I'm optimistically happy at this point. Haven't viewed the video yet. will do that next.

You cannot run both at once.

There is a beginning mode be default. I turned it of on the Go App... don't know about the Litchi.
