I bought Neo yesterday and started using it.

I'm having trouble extracting the images I've taken.

I'm using Mac OS and recently updated to the latest OS, 15.0 Squoia.

I connected it to this Mac with the USB-C cable that came with it, but I can't see the contents of the storage. It shows 0MB capacity. I tried creating a new folder from my Mac in that state, but the folder disappeared the moment I thought it was created.

I had a Mac that was running Mac OS 14 that I hadn't updated yet, so I connected it to that and was able to see the contents properly. I was also able to see the new folder I created with Squoia.

It seems like it's something to do with the compatibility between the new Mac OS and Neo, or a security issue with the new OS, but does anyone know a solution?

Okay, you mean DJI Assistant 2.

But DJI Neo is supposed to be able to extract images and videos just by connecting the device to a computer with a USB cable without using any software, but I can't do this with the latest version of Mac OS. Can you help me understand my problem?

I was struggling with the issue of not being able to load the device for almost a day, but suddenly it started loading again.

It's a mystery as I hadn't updated the system or any of the apps, but at any rate, I'm now able to use the device again.

I have the same issue. When you plug the drone into the Mac the storage device appears but nothing is shown as contents. This does not happen with my Mini 3 pro.  This is not about us having to use another app there is some kind of bug on the drone.

Are you also running Sequoia? I haven't noticed this issue personally, and there should be no reason for it to not work under Sequoia specifically afaict.

At first, I thought I was the only one cursed. I'm glad to know that there are others in the same situation and that Neo seems to have some problem.

However, in my case, it is currently connected without any problems. I did nothing. It remains a mystery as to why it didn't connect and why it now connects.

I'll report on one thing I did. Of course, I'm not sure if doing the same thing will work.

1. Confirm that you can't connect to a Mac running Sequoia
2. Confirm that you can connect to a Mac running an OS earlier than Sequoia
3. Connect to a Mac running Sequoia again

Since then, I've been able to connect my Mac running Sequoia to Neo normally.

Oh ...!  I thought it was working fine, but it's happened again. I can't see anything inside the USB cable. My conclusion so far is that it's a bit random whether it connects or not.

I'm also having trouble connecting to my iPhone. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it won't connect no matter how many times I try. I just updated my iPhone to the latest version, 18.0, the other day.

Yes I am running Sequoia.  The Mini 3 pro mounts perfectly. The Neo shows no content when connected.
