Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the Neo get enough satelites to fly?  I'm hit and miss and when I do get enough, it drops them most times while I am flying.  I also have a Mini 4 Pro and an Avata 2 and they have no prob lems where I fly.  I am in the middle of nowhere in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Also, my Neo keeps switching back to Maderin from English after I use a controller.  IDK.

I tried getting the pics in the original post.   Best I got today was 15, then it dropped to 8 or 9 and I was scared of losing it and landed.

I have done that.  Also as suggested via chat support to reload firmware using the DJI Assistant for consumer drones.  So far I have only done a quick test in my back yard, but nothing seems any better.  I have also used it with the goggles and controller from my Avata 2, it also never gets more than 12-20 satellites, but loses them also and I get a warning even though it still shows them on the screen.    I fly my M4P and Avata 2 in the same locations and alway have 20-30+ satellites and no issues or warnings, even if they do drop below 20, which is rare.

I'm going to try today again, but I'm scared to fly it.  I really like the drone and had plans for it.  If I can't get a lock on satellites, I don't think it will work for me.  It works fine in autonomous mode or with my phone, buy I need a controller for some stuff.

Do you lose them during flight if you do get a good lock?  That happens to me.  It's hit and miss, I can't trust it, but I really like the drone.  I have plans for it, if it can get satellites and stay locked.  

Same issue with my RC-2, sometimes it takes several minutes to have enough satellites to fly, after take off the Neo is unable to hold the position, or is drifting away. After some seconds everything is ok. That doesn't create trust.

Yeah, I started at 98% battery and was down to 91% before I could take off, then got a satellite warning while flying, but still showed 12 or so sats but in red.....bounces all over with sats.  I'll try again today, and also try with the goggles gain, but its the same issue.  

Did a quick video and sped it up, but you can see even after sitting for a minute, it just never gets satellites, then if you take off, it loses them or bounces all over and you get warnings.

I guess I am trying to find out if it is just my Neo or others.  Did I get a faulty one or is this going to be an ongoing issue?  IDK.  I am seeing a few with satellite holding issues and a few fly aways that might be attributed to satellite lock, unconfirmed though.  

Couple days ago was my first real outdoors session with the Neo. Similar satellite capture and hold issue.  Never have had an issue with how quick and the number of satellites acquired by the Avata2.  Using same hardware.  FPV RC3 or MC3, Goggles3.  Same backyard. For the Neo  satellite capture was slow.  Took more than a moment or two for enough satellites to be captured to allow "Home" point to be acquired.  IIRC, max total number of satellites never exceeded 19 and dropped to "red" zone occasionally.  Avata2 usually has in the 20s.   For my personal use not a super critical issue.  Neo was purchased for indoors and flying relatively close proximity outdoors. On weird side. The couple times I test flew the Avata2 indoors I had zero satellites (steel roof). But the couple times flying the Neo I captured 2-3.   M8 generation v. M10 generation GPS chip?  

So at first the neo was working amazing and in alot of ways still is. But I have this satilite issue as well. I often take off with only 6 satellites because it can't seem to get more then that on the first flight. Then when i take it up again the seccond time it can normally get enough for a home point. other than this issue i love this drone. looking for a fix.
