Hi there, thank you for your interest with DJI Flip, and appreciate your inquiry. Unlike the previously released RC-N2/N1 remotes, the RC-N3 remote has upgraded to a new USB chip and low-power design, allowing for stable communication without supplying power when connected to most phone models. However, a few phone models do not support communication without power, so when connected to the remote, they will still receive slow USB charging to ensure a stable connection with the mobile device.
The previously released remotes, like the RC-N2/N1, required power when connecting to mobile devices to ensure stable communication, which is similar to how a phone receives slow charging when connected to a computer. Hope this answered your concern about the charging issue. Thank you for your understanding and support. |
