Hi,
I'm having Reconstruction errors (-1). I'm using DJI TERRA 4.2.5 version. It doesn't happen when I run less than 800 photos. When I run more than around 800 photos I get this error eventhough I bought the license. I can't build the 2D nor 3D reconstruction.
I'm working with a DJI Mavic 3E. RGB

Hi there. Sorry to hear that you encountered an error message. First of all, we need to remind you that DJI Terra does not support AMD graphics cards. DJI Terra is developed and operates based on CUDA, which is a parallel computing platform and programming model invented by NVIDIA, and CUDA is exclusive to NVIDIA graphics cards. AMD graphics cards do not support CUDA.
Secondly, according to your pictures, it is because the AT data results are abnormal, which makes it impossible to set the contour range of the data.
We recommend that you
1. Check the cache directory space and reserve 5 times the size of the original data;
2. Use the region of interest, adjust the ROI range, and rebuild the test again. Please close other software that occupies memory and video memory during reconstruction;
3. When reconstructing in 2D, if you import photos of multiple unconnected areas, please separate multiple tasks for reconstruction.
If the problem persists, please let us know so that we can further analyze it.

I'm using a AMD processor due to the problems that Intel are having. It is the processor not the graphic card.
I'm using a NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4090 graphic card.
I don't understand how the contour range works, since it is not available to modifications.

1. I have enough space in the cache directory.
2. How do I adjust the ROI range. It is not enable for modifications. Is it possible that I have a larger area that the software cannot handle? I flew over an area that requiere 3 flights (3 battery changes and around 3000 photos). I couldn't built them in one task so I separeted each flight. Doing this I was able reconstruct the 2D model, but not the 3D model. So, does it mean that I cannot build large areas?
I'm not running other programs simultaniously.
3. The areas are connected, but done in different flights due to battery. I ran each photo folder separately and I got the 2D reconstruction but not the 3D.

A. Screenshot
1. Screenshot of parameter settings in your task panel;
2. Input data:
① Visible light: photo point (position shown on the map), number of photos;
② Radar: flight times (number of data groups, how many folders), data size (how big the file is);
3. Memory usage in the "Performance" column in the task manager (take a screenshot in time after the error);
4. Dedicated GPU usage in the "Performance" column in the task manager (take a screenshot in time after the error);
5. Remaining disk space (screenshot of my computer files);
6. Windows system version information (screenshot under Settings - System);

B. Log and dump:
a. You need to turn on the user improvement plan option;
b. Please run DJI TERRA with administrator privileges for calculation;
c. After the task fails, click "Export Log" in the pop-up window to collect the corresponding error log;
d. If you miss the pop-up window, the log can be exported normally as before, and the dump file should be collected in images/sentry_database The entire folder will do.

We know that collecting this information takes effort, but only with these information can we provide feedback to engineers. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Then I tried to reconstruct each folder separately. This way I got the 2D reconstruction but not the 3D. I got Reconstruction error -1, again for the 3D.

After this I gave it a shot to reconstruct the 4 folders together again. And I got the 2D reconstruction but again I got the error -1 for the 3D. Here is the link for the LOG 3D ERROR

Now, I'm sending you the screenshot requested. When I checked the GPU performance, I think it is not working while the DJI Terra is running.

Hi there. Regarding your first question, please try right-clicking the DJI Terra software and then clicking Run as Administrator.
If both error -1 and 2009 are reported, the actual error is -1. We will wait for your log and dump, and then we will submit it to our engineers for analysis.

Hello, our engineering team responded with the results. You can first perform a single aerial triangulation and then use the region of interest/ block method for reconstruction, with the block method set to allocate 16GB per block.
Please keep us updated if the issue persists.

Hello. DJI Terra provides the following block-splitting methods:
1. Auto: Maximizes the blocks automatically based on the device's current available memory.

2. Custom Size: Splits blocks according to the "Single Block Memory Limit" input by the user.

3. Custom Side Length: Splits blocks based on the "Side Length" input by the user. The values of "Est Memory Usage" and "Block Count" are displayed.

4. Custom Splitting Origin: This feature enables you to define a custom coordinate system and coordinate values for the splitting origin. To update a model, set a common splitting origin and replace the corresponding blocks. This function must be used together with "Custom Model Origin" to achieve a satisfactory model update.

Tip: The "ROI" feature is supported in 2D reconstruction, 2D multispectral reconstruction, and 3D reconstruction. However, only 3D reconstruction supports the "Block Splitting" feature.

Thank you the response.
I found out what the problem was. I was plugging the monitor in the motherboard HMDI instead of the GPU inlet. Now the software is performing well.

Nevertheless, when I try to modify the ROI/BLOCK feature it appears unable. I cannot change the parameters.
