There was nearly a bird strike on my DJI NEO today and although this is probably the best beginner drone from DJI the DJI Neo the noise it makes attracts birds but the drone is still tickety-boo

A bit close for comfort.
I inadvertently flew my Neo into a flock of Canada Geese grazing in a field. They were alarmed, but not sufficiently to cause them to take flight, fortunately.
They just had a good hiss at it as I backed away.

They are 100% giving it a good stare good job they didn't go for it as they would have caused some damage

whats crazy about that situation is you cant even just go up since you'll hit the birds, so you have to stay and pray hope this never happens to you again

It's happened to me whilst flying the old Phantom series.  Birds are not as passive as people think, and many have poor eyesight.  A wood pidgeon once flew in to my Ham radio tower, made a squark, recovered and flew off.
