I used a TB47 battery that had previously been updated to the latest firmware (1.4.0.10) but received the warning in the battery firmware needed to be updated in GO app 2.2.0 (iOS). I inserted a MicroSD with 1.4.0.10 and the battery went through the update cycle (DDDD and 2 centre LEDs - one steady and one flashing) for about 90 secs. On completion I powered down the aircraft, changed the MicroSD card and powered up. The GO app continued to warn that the battery firmware needed to be updated. I had to switch the RC off and on to clear the warning.  The battery was used 3 days ago but there was no internet connection.

I conclude that either the battery had not been updated and it was only with the Internet connection that the warning was triggered or that the warning was false. The other issue is that on powering up the aircraft, the warning should have cleared. It should not have required the RC to be recycled.
